AutumnFest returns to Downtown Park in Southern Pines today, October 3, 2026: arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, food, and kids' activities, free from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Fall has officially arrived in the Sandhills, and one of my favorite signs of the season is happening today: AutumnFest in downtown Southern Pines!
Now in its 48th year, AutumnFest has been a Moore County tradition since 1978, drawing thousands of visitors to Downtown Park for a family-friendly day of arts, crafts, music and community. It's one of those events that reminds you why this area is such a special place to call home.
Here's what you can look forward to today:
Arts and crafts vendors.
Browse handmade work from local and regional artists, from pottery and paintings to jewelry and home goods. It's the perfect place to find something unique for your home or an early holiday gift.
Live entertainment.
The festival features live music and performances throughout the day, with a dedicated entertainment stage and family-friendly acts for all ages.
Delicious food.
Grab lunch from the food vendors and enjoy it in the park or while you stroll through downtown. There's something for every taste.
Kids' activities.
AutumnFest is a great event for families, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained while you shop and explore.
